Eden Park Refurbishment (Client: Fletcher Construction)

Currently under construction and due for completion by March 2010, in time for the 2011 Rugby World Cup.

Fabricating the South Stand secondary steel facade and a series of 18m x 22m x 13m steel Silver Ferns – associated 8 kilometres of pipework – this project requires exacting standards of accuracy with literally no room for error.

The structure is being built on-site at Culham’s and will be broken down, transported and re-built at Eden Park, which is remaining open and operational throughout the upgrade.

Culham’s professionalism and experience meant that they were not happy to accept things as they were but keen to explore options and provide more value for the client. Add to this their commitment to deliver on promises, communicate honestly and put the client first and it is easy to see why Culham Engineering is the first number called by Golden Bay Cement when project work is available.
